The Montana Chi Alpha Executive Committee is accepting applications for a new Chi Alpha Director at Montana State University – Billings, a campus of over 4,000 students, including around 130 international students. MSU-B is located in the center of Billings, the largest city in Montana, giving a Chi Alpha Director ample opportunity to build a wide community support base, including five Assemblies of God churches in the area.

The current Chi Alpha outreach at MSU-B was re-planted five years ago in the Fall of 2015 and has around 25-40 students involved weekly. The past Director finished June 30, 2020. The group is currently led by the Montana Chi Alpha District Director from afar with a local student executive team facilitating main meetings, small groups, outreach and discipleship.

We are looking for a new long-term Chi Alpha Director that will not only reach MSU-Billings, but who could also be a hub-style Chi Alpha Director raising up additional staff to reach the two tribal colleges south of Billings (Crow – 250 students & N. Cheyenne – 150 students) and possibly Sheridan Community College (2,000 students) in Wyoming as well. Applicants need to have completed (or currently enrolled in) a certified CMIT or Chi Alpha New Director Training Program.

To apply: send ministry resume with formal cover letter stating your desire to apply for the MSU-Billings Chi Alpha Director position to Scott Barnett (MT XA District Director) at scott@umchialpha.com. For additional info and questions email or call Scott: 406-239-4069.
