Interested in being a part of a community where we chase after God together and fight for one another and students on campus all the while doing it at one of the most beautiful places in the World? Colorado Springs is located at the base of Pikes Peak and is home to UCCS (University of Colorado-Colorado Springs), and the campus is set up on the highest point in the city, which makes the view walking across campus or studying in the library breathtaking. Colorado Springs has some of the best outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, including camping, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, and only a few hours from several ski resorts which can make one-on-ones VERY exciting. Colorado Springs is also the home of the Olympic Training Center, where hundreds of athletes from all over the country, come to train for a shot to compete for Olympic glory.
We have been on campus since the fall of 2010 when a team from all over the country came and pioneered. The former Director left in 2013 and Dan and Kayla Gibson took over as Directors. Our current group has around 40 students involved, 3 small groups, 5 student leaders, but with 10 new students slated to take our leadership class in the spring semester. We are involved in local missions as well as cross-cultural missions, with a commitment to serve in China for the next 3-5 years.
My wife Kayla and I have been married for 8 years and have served in Chi Alpha all 8 of those years. We have 2 beautiful children and are expecting a 3rd shortly. We love students and we love our staff and enjoy having both in our home. All staff that have served with us we consider family and those that serve with us now, know that we will fight for and with them.
