The Montana Chi Alpha Executive Committee is accepting applications for a new Chi Alpha Director at Montana State University – Billings, a campus of over 4,000 students, including around 130 international students. MSU-B is located in the center of Billings, the largest city in Montana, giving an XA Director ample opportunity to build a wide community support base, including five Assemblies of God churches in the area.

The current Chi Alpha outreach at MSU-B was re-planted four years ago in the Fall of 2015 and now has around 25-35 student involved weekly with around 5-8 Student Leaders. The group is healthy and the current director will minister through June 2020, before transitioning into graduate studies in Fall 2020.

We are looking for a new long-term XA Director that will not only reach MSU-Billings, but who could also be a hub-style outreach director raising up staff to reach the two tribal colleges south of Billings (Crow – 250 students & N. Cheyenne – 150 enrollment) and possibly Sheridan Community College in Wyoming as well (2000 enrollment).

Applicants need to have completed a Chi Alpha Internship or New Director Training Program. To apply: send ministry resume with formal cover letter stating your desire to apply for the MSU-Billings Chi Alpha Director position to Scott Barnett (MT XA State Director) at scott@umchialpha.com. The application deadline for this position is January 31, 2020. Please direct any questions to Scott by email or by phone: 406-239-4069.
