Bring the whole family to Phoenix, Arizona for our Campus Missions Conference (CMC) July 23-26, 2018!  At CMC 2018, we will focus on disciple-making communities.

Anticipate being infused with vision and ministry ideas as you interact with your fellow laborers on the campus. Experience an authentic Kingdom impartation as you grow as leaders at CMC 2018!

Our movement is expanding at a rapid pace, and we desire all of our missionary family to be aware and a part of these historic moments. You will be informed, inspired, and ministered to at CMC as we focus on Disciple-Making Groups.

CMC will also continue to provide intentional, powerful XA missionary kid (MK) ministry to your children; building a relationship and ministry community amongst our XAMKs!

Make plans to arrive by mid-afternoon Monday, July 23, 2018 and departures as early as the morning of Friday, July 27, 2018. Registration on July 23 opens at noon, and the opening session begins at 6:30 pm. The closing activity of CMC ends at 10:00 pm on July 26.

Is water park access included with the conference?

If you book your hotel at the Arizona Grand Resort, access to the Oasis Water Park is included. If you stay elsewhere, the Arizona Grand Resort will not permit those staying at other hotels to enter the water park.

Is there a mini-fridge in the hotel room?

Yes, and it can be unloaded and used for your own items. (Just make sure to re-load everything or you will be charged for the contents.)

Is there a microwave in the hotel room?

Unfortunately, there is no microwave in the hotel room.

What can you tell me about Athletic Club and Spa?

The Spa is open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.  You may call 602-431-6485 to schedule an appointment.

View the spa brochure here.

The Athletic Club is available to all resort guests who are at least 16 years old.  You may call 602-431-6484 for club hours.

What should I bring to CMC?

It will be hot!  Bring comfortable clothing, sunscreen, swimwear, a hat, sunglasses, and walking shoes.  The rooms may be cold, so bring a sweater or jacket if you get cold easily. You may also want to bring water shoes for the water park to protect your feet from the hot concrete.

Do I need to tip?

Failing to leave an appropriate tip could be a misrepresentation of Chi Alpha Campus Ministries.  The following are guidelines for leaving tips:

  • Housekeeping Gratuity: $2.00 per suite, per night is included with your CMC registration.
  • Meal Tips: For meal service not catered by Chi Alpha, we recommend a 15% to 20% gratuity of the total bill.
  • Luggage Tips: For assistance with luggage, the suggested amount is $1 per bag for the bellman who assists with taking your luggage to your room.
  • Concierge, Valet Attendant: $1-5 dependent upon services provided.

What food options are nearby?

There are restaurants on-property as well as various options within walking distance and accessible by the resort shuttle service.

What if I have other questions that aren't addressed here? Who do I contact?

For registration questions, contact Sheila Mixer. For questions regarding the event itself, Gary Paschal or Harvey Herman can address those.
