District Chi Alpha Representatives and Directors, our next nationwide District Leader’s Conference is coming this fall. We are working on an excellent conference that will heighten your leadership capacity, give us a great time to learn from one another, and have fun while we’re doing it all. The conference begins with dinner on Tuesday, October 23, and ends on the night of Thursday, October 25 (plan for departures on Friday the 26th). We are hosting you here in Springfield (with a final celebration at the Martin ranch!). More details will be coming soon, but I want to make sure you nail down dates. Can’t wait to have you all here—we’re prepping something good for you!

Hotel reservations and payment are separate and must be made by September 28 at University Plaza Hotel (417-864-7333).  The hotel cost is $99/night (includes airport shuttle and breakfast).


What are the dates of the conference?

October 23-25, 2018

When is the deadline to register?

The deadline to register is October 18th. Early bird pricing (DXAR $189, Spouse $149) is available until September 15th; regular rates (DXAR $219, Spouse $179) apply from September 16th until the deadline.

When should I plan to arrive?

Plan to arrive on October 23rd. Registration will open at 2:00pm at the hotel, and the welcome dinner will begin at 5:30pm at the Eurasia office.

Where will the conference be held?

The conference will be held at the Eurasia office (1600 N Boonville Ave. Suites B&C, Springfield, MO 65802; roughly two miles from the hotel).

When should I plan to depart?

Plan to depart anytime on October 26th.

What about hotel reservations?

Reservations should be made at the University Plaza Hotel (417-864-7333). There is a block of rooms reserved under Chi Alpha. Hotel reservations and payment are separate and must be made by September 28th. The cost is $99/night (includes airport shuttle and breakfast).

Do you provide transportation between the airport and the hotel?

The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. Contact the hotel at 417-864-7333 for further details.

What is the conference schedule?

The conference will run from 8:30 am-5:00 pm, plus scheduled dinners each day. The opening night (Tuesday) starts at 5:30 pm and will go until 8:30 pm.

What meals are included during the conference?

Complimentary breakfast is included with the hotel. All other meals are included with conference fees, starting with dinner on Tuesday the 23rd and continuing through dinner on Thursday the 25th.

What should I bring?

Bring an enthusiasm to learn and connect!

How do I register as a married couple or group?

Please register each person individually for the conference. Hotel registration is separate and up to you.
