This is a share-funded (fundraised) role based in Langley, BC, involving oversight of over twenty campus staff on seven BC campuses. A qualified candidate for this share-funded role will be a mature leader with at least five years of relevant campus ministry experience.

Pioneer Director for Middle Tennessee State University

Must be able to pioneer the largest undergrad University in Tennessee. Must be able to recruit a team to help you. MTSU is predominately a commuter school and the pioneer must also be an out of the box thinker as far as reaching many students on line in beginning relationships.

The pioneer director that we are looking for will also help oversee the pioneering of the other universities in Nashville in coordination with Jonathan Miller who is beginning a CMIT program at Austin Peay State University. There is strong support from churches in the area, the Tennessee Ministry Network also is very excited about establishing Chi Alpha at Middle Tennessee State University! There are five other Chi Alphas in the state and are wanting to welcome you to the Tennessee Chi Alpha Family!!!

Pioneer Team for Middle Tennessee State

Looking for director who will pioneer from scratch at the largest under graduate university in Tennessee, Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. Must also be able to recruit and bring a team to help them pioneer MTSU. Must meet all qualifications and take assessment and must be able to raise a budget. With our CMIT program beginning at Austin Peay State University, the director we are looking for will not only pioneer at MTSU, but also work together with Jonathan Miller in pioneering all the universities in the Nashville, Tennessee area! The Tennessee District is very excited to begin reaching MTSU and there are churches ready to help the directors.

National Chi Alpha Support Raising Coach

Part-Time

Starts April 30, 2019

Objective
To provide direct support raising coaching in Chi Alpha missionaries to budgetary health according to national best practices, in a part time capacity. This position can transition (or be available) as a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on the National Support Raising Coaches Team
  • Maintain a working relationship with the National Support Raising Specialist and Personnel Director
  • Be available to coach 2-4 missionaries a month as part time coach (approximately a 4-6 hour per week commitment)
  • Attend annual Support Raising Coaches Training and online trainings throughout the year
  • Communicate regularly with leadership regarding progress of those being coached 

Requirements

  • Become trained and certified as a Support Raising Coach
  • Chi Alpha Experience
  • XA Career Associate or Full Appointment status
  • CMIT or equivalent
  • Ability to raise and maintain healthy budget
  • Demonstrate skill to communicate, track, and do follow-through with each missionary you coach
  • Recommendation and approval of the Area and District Director


National Chi Alpha New Director Training Coach and Trainer

Full-Time

Starts April 30, 2019

Objective
To coach and/or equip new Chi Alpha Directors in health, godliness, life, skill, and ministry.

Coaching Responsibilities

  • Serve on the National New Director Training (NDT) Team
  • Maintain a working relationship with the New Director Program Facilitator
  • Be available to coach one to four New Directors in Training a month

Trainer Responsibilities

  • Serve on the National New Director Training (NDT) Team
  • Maintain a working relationship with the New Director Program Facilitator
  • Be available to assist/lead New Directors in Training once a month

Requirements

  • Completion of an International Coach Federations (ICF) 501 Coaching Class
  • Completion of Chi Alpha New Staff Training (RUI and CMIT), and are fully funded
  • Proven work experience with Chi Alpha (minimum of twelve years as a Chapter Director) with supervisor affirmation
  • Completion of a ten month NDT curriculum
  • Proven ability to keep confidence with information learned from coaching/mentoring relationships
  • Proven ability to lead others through crucial conversations
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to listen, ask questions, and encourage others in a way that inspires them to think, dream, and discover solutions to their own challenges, and take action on those solutions

National Chi Alpha Fully Funded Specialist

Objective
To provide direct support raising coaching to new and underfunded missionaries to budgetary health according to national best practices, in a full time capacity. Additionally, as needed, to develop and oversee a team of support raising coaches in a specific Chi Alpha Area.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on the National Support Raising Coaching Team
  • Maintain a working relationship with the National Support Raising Specialist and Personnel Director
  • Provide support raising coaching strategically to those in your Chi Alpha Area
  • Develop and oversee support raising coaches to help serve your Area as needed
  • Communicate regularly with leadership regarding progress of those being coached
  • Attend annual Support Raising Coaches’ Training and online trainings throughout the year

Requirements

  • Become trained and certified as a Support Raising Coach
  • Chi Alpha Experience
  • Chi Alpha Career Associate or Full Appointment status
  • AG Ministerial Credentials and CMIT or equivalent
  • Ability to raise and maintain a healthy budget

National Chi Alpha Coach

Objective
To coach and help the Chi Alpha missionary move forward in health, godliness, life and ministry.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on the National Coaching Team
  • Maintain a working relationship with the National Coaching Specialist
  • Be available to coach one to four people a month
  • Coach Chi Alpha missionaries, pioneers, current and emerging directors, local Chi Alpha church staff, DXADs/ADs, and CMIT directors for increased effectiveness in the University setting and/or to a fully funded status
  • Can be part-time or full-time

Requirements

  • Completion of an International Coach Federation (ICF) 501 coaching class
  • Completion of an additional Chi Alpha coach training for specific ministry coaching
  • Proven ability to keep confidence with information learned from coaching relationship
  • Proven work experience with Chi Alpha
  • Proven ability to resolve interpersonal tensions and lead others through crucial conversations
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to listen, ask questions, and encourage others in a way that inspires them to think, dream and discover their own solutions and then ask action on those solutions
  • See people for what they can become
