Honor, respect, unity and prayer are the four pillars of leadership in Chi Alpha’s culture. These pillars should be reflected in our students, missionaries and staff. Prayer encompasses all these pillars. You honor and respect those for whom you pray, and you are united with God and others in prayer.
We encourage prayer. It is the way we communicate and intercede to God for friends, family and ourselves. Jesus taught us how to pray and we should do so on a regular basis. You can pray by yourself (Matthew 6:6) or with others (Matthew 18:20).
The National Chi Alpha Ministry Center gathers together every day to pray for those in need and for our Chi Alpha campuses and missionaries. Check our Facebook page each weekday morning for a post with #XAPray to find out which campus we are interceding for that day and join us in prayer.
