A Life of Prayer

The Son of God required constant prayerfulness and intensive times of focused prayer. To be human, according to Jesus’ example, is to be a creature who needs to be involved in regular, heartfelt prayer times with God, which helps us to enjoy, value, and glorify Him.
Not only that, but prayer is for our own good as well: we should bring our lives constantly back into sync with the values and mission of God’s Kingdom through communication with Him. Even though God doesn’t need our prayers in order to accomplish His will, the beauty of it is that He still wants to include and partner with us in what He is doing!
Chi Alpha students are taught to develop a life of prayer for themselves and for God’s glory in their generation. Chi Alpha desires to raise up a generation of prayers warriors who will be instruments of God and line earth up with heaven every day.
