Dennis Gaylor, retired national director of Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, U.S.A. from 1979 to 2013, has written Growing a Student Movement: The Development of Chi Alpha Campus Ministries 1940-2020. It is an eighty-year chronological and comprehensive history of Chi Alpha stateside and two chapters dedicated to the parallel history story of university ministry abroad.
